On Sunday, February 28, Bob Simpson, managing partner, presented a $581 check to Grands Stepping Up, a nonprofit organization formed to help grandparents who find themselves overwhelmed and raising their grandchildren after the kids' parents have fallen victim to opioid addiction. During the month of January, proceedings were given by employees as part of the firm's Dress Down Day program.
Giving back to the community is extremely important to the team at Brinker Simpson. We know the enormous impact even one small gesture can have, and we believe we can do our part and more to make a difference. Many of these nonprofits will be relied on more than ever as our neighbors deal with the stress of COVID-19. We're hopeful these donations will go toward helping to alleviate this stress for so many within our communities.
Special thanks to Founder Karen Barnes, Pastor Mike Emge from the Llanerch Hills Chapel in Havertown, and all the wonderful volunteers contributing to this group's success. To learn more about Grands Stepping Up and how you can help, visit www.grandssteppingupinfo.com.
