ABOUT TONY MITCHELL

Tony Mitchell joined Brinker Simpson as a partner in January 2010. Tony has more than forty years of public accounting experience and in providing tax accounting and consulting services to closely-held small to mid-sized privately held businesses in Philadelphia and the surrounding area. His client focus is on small to mid-sized companies for a wide range of industries. Before merging with Brinker Simpson, Tony was with Coopersmith, Elman, and Company in Philadelphia for over 20 years and two other public accounting companies for eight years.

Tony enjoys helping and advising business owners and individuals to achieve their goals. He does this by providing strategies on how to minimize taxes and improve cash flow. It is important to Tony that he is available to his clients to give them personalized attention that they need and deserve.

Tony resides in Havertown, with his wife, Mary Ellen. Some of Tony’s favorite activities include relaxing at the Jersey Shore, reading business and self-improvement books, and Tony also enjoys cooking. Tony is also an avid Philadelphia sports fan. As an Eagles season ticket holder, Tony enjoys firing up the grill and tailgating with family, friends, and clients.
