Busy season can be one of the most demanding times of the year in public accounting, and we're incredibly grateful to have a strong support team in place to help keep things running smoothly.
This year, we're proud to highlight the contributions of our seasonal tax administrator and three tax interns who have hit the ground running—bringing energy, attention to detail, and a commitment to learning and collaboration that align with our firm's values.
At Brinker Simpson, we believe in creating opportunities for young professionals to grow and thrive—especially during the most fast-paced and formative times of the year.

Tax Intern
Neumann University, Accounting
I chose Neumann University for its financial and academic advantages.
Collaborating with experienced accountants for hands-on learning.
I am passionate about my personal and professional growth.
My peers would describe me as tenacious, open-minded, and optimistic.
I enjoy watching educational content on investment and finance trends.
Tax Intern
I am a senior at West Chester University, set to graduate in May. After graduation, I plan to study to become a CPA.
I chose to return to Brinker Simpson for another internship because I truly enjoyed the relationships I built and the experience I gained during my time here.
I have deepened my understanding and gained confidence in applying what I have learned at Brinker Simpson and in school to different scenarios.
The most valuable lesson I have learned is to stay patient and that it takes time to fully understand new concepts.
One piece of advice I would give to future interns is to appreciate the learning process; patience is key.
If I didn't pursue accounting, I likely would've gone to school for Cybersecurity.
I went to a Phillies spring training game for the first time over spring break.
I look forward to going on vacation with friends and family after graduation.
Tax Intern
Widener University, Accounting
What attracted me to work at Brinker and Simpson this year was the support I had received and the relationships I had built when I interned with the firm last busy season.
My favorite part of the experience so far has been coming in and working with people who are very resourceful and patient when I need a question answered.
My current career goal is to complete my CPA.
I enjoy spending time with friends and family, watching sports, and fishing.
My favorite snack is a soft pretzel.
A fun fact about me is that I went on a family trip to Ireland this summer.
If I could have a superpower during tax season, it would be to read and process information faster than anyone in the world.
