Brinker Simpson & Company was founded in 1989 by Bob Simpson, CPA, MST and Tom Brinker, CPA, on a straightforward idea: know your clients well enough to give them advice that actually matters. Tom went on to lead Arcadia University's accounting department, while Bob grew the firm on the foundation they built together: long-term relationships, direct access to senior professionals, and hands-on involvement that larger firms can't always deliver. More than 35 years later, that foundation still holds.
In 2022, Michael Simpson, CPA, CVA, became Managing Partner. Having joined the firm in 1993, Michael spent nearly three decades working alongside Bob, helping shape the firm's valuation, tax, and consulting services. Under his leadership, Brinker Simpson is building on that foundation with a sharper focus on advisory services, strategic growth, and the next generation of talent.
