Bob Simpson, CPA, MST, founder and Managing Partner of Brinker Simpson & Company, received the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce's 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award. The award was presented at the Chamber's Annual Membership Luncheon on Wednesday, June 15, at Springfield Country Club.
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an outstanding individual who has been regarded as a regional business leader and positively impacted the Delaware County business community.
"It is truly an honor to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, and I am deeply humbled by this recognition," said Bob Simpson. "Delaware County is a community made up of ordinary people who do extraordinary things, and giving back to our community is a fundamental part of the Brinker Simpson culture."
During Wednesday's event, more than 150 business and organization leaders and government officials gathered to celebrate Bob's work for close to four decades. During the luncheon, Bob, his wife Eileen, and his family were greeted by guests who offered their heartfelt gratitude and congratulations.
"This award has given me the opportunity to reflect on the great work we have done as a Firm," Bob said. "The partnerships we've developed with clients and business owners over the years have allowed me to support the Chamber and significantly impact the success of this region. It has been a fulfilling pursuit and a highlight of my career."
