Brinker Simpson and Company, LLC, Delaware County's largest locally owned, full-service public accounting firm, is pleased to announce that partner Cathy Seiler has been selected to join The Forum of Executive Women, a membership organization comprised of 500 of the most influential women leaders in the Philadelphia region. In this role, Cathy will work closely with other executive women to expand the impact and power of women in the workplace and beyond.
At Brinker Simpson, Cathy provides audit, accounting, general business advisory and tax services to clients in a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, wholesale distribution, construction, professional services, nonprofit, governmental, and employee benefit plans. Cathy joined Brinker Simpson as a Partner in October 2014, bringing more than 25 years of public accounting experience to the firm. Before joining, Cathy was a Senior Manager at a national accounting firm and the Director of Quality Control for a large regional firm.
Prospective members must be sponsored by two current Forum members and meet specific criteria, including being recognized as a leader in their field with more than seven years of managerial experience; a demonstrated leadership track record in civic and community activities within the last five years; and demonstrate a commitment to the community through active involvement in diverse activities outside of their profession.
"I've long admired The Forum of Executive Women and its mission, and I'm thrilled to be selected as a member of this esteemed organization," said Partner Cathy Seiler, CPA. "I look forward to working with the group and my fellow members to advance the cause of women's empowerment and leadership across the Philadelphia region."
For the tenth consecutive year, Brinker Simpson was named one of Accounting Today's Best Accounting Firms to Work for in 2021. In 2019 and 2021, Brinker Simpson was also recognized as the Best Accounting Firm for Women to Work – ranking alongside some of the best in the business at #2 nationwide and #1 in Pennsylvania.
"The achievement of women within our firm has been key to our growth and success," said Managing Partner Robert (Bob) Simpson, CPA, MST. "Maintaining a diverse and inclusive environment is a core value at Brinker Simpson and critical to our culture. I am confident Cathy's successful track record of working with clients of all sizes and her thoughtful leadership on issues important to the profession will be a valuable addition to The Forum of Executive Women."
