Brinker Simpson & Company, LLC, the region's largest independently owned, full-service public accounting firm, is pleased to welcome Marjorie Babiak to our team of professionals.

Marj joins the Firm as an accounting associate on our client accounting services team. She is responsible for our clients' day-to-day accounting activities, including general oversight of their bookkeeping system and financial reporting. Marj brings valuable professional skills to the Firm, including over 25 years of experience managing daily financial operations and compliance programs.

Before joining, Marj was the chief financial officer for a local private 501(c)(3) nonprofit transportation company certified by the PA Public Utility Commission to provide demand-responsive service to the general public. In this role, she managed budgets in excess of $15 million. She also oversaw daily financial functions, including accounting operations, payroll, and financial reporting. Marj brings valuable professional capabilities to the Firm, including exceptional compliance, documentation, and reporting skills.

Marj earned a Bachelor of Science degree from West Chester University and a Master's in Business Administration from Widener University. She resides in Swarthmore, PA. Outside the office, Marj enjoys yoga, reading, walking, and spending time with family and friends.
