As you prepare for the 2025 tax season, Brinker Simpson & Company is making an important change to how clients share their tax information with our team.
We are no longer using TaxCaddy
If you used TaxCaddy last year as an individual (Form 1040) client in any capacity, please do not upload any 2025 tax documents to TaxCaddy. Anything uploaded to TaxCaddy for the 2025 filing season will not be monitored or used in preparing your return.
Brinker Simpson & Company is no longer using the TaxCaddy platform due to Thomson Reuters’ consolidation of its products. Our focus is on maintaining a consistent, secure, and reliable experience for our clients, which is why we are standardizing on a single solution.
SafeSend is now our single, firmwide solution
While industry platform changes can be complex, our goal is simple: to provide you with a secure, consistent, and user-friendly experience.
SafeSend is now our single, firmwide solution for tax document intake and delivery. Through SafeSend, you will be able to:
1. Electronically sign engagement letters and required forms
2. Complete your organizer and questionnaire
3. Securely upload tax documents and supporting information
What you should do for 2025
For the 2025 tax season:
- All engagement letters, organizers, questionnaires, and supporting documents should be completed and submitted through SafeSend once you receive your SafeSend invitation email.
- If you prefer to provide documents in hard copy, you are welcome to mail them to our office or drop them off in person.
If you do not see your SafeSend invitation, please check your spam or junk folder, or contact our office so we can assist.
