Brinker Simpson & Company, a leading accounting and financial advisory firm in the Philadelphia region, is proud to announce that Michael W. Simpson, CPA, CVA, has been appointed to the position of Managing Partner, effective July 1, 2022. Michael becomes the 2nd Managing Partner, succeeding founder Robert B. Simpson, CPA, MST, who will remain a Partner at the firm, focusing primarily on business development and client services while maintaining his strong civic and community involvement.
Having spent his entire career devoted to public accounting and being an active member of the Brinker Simpson management team, Michael is proud to have built and maintained many long-standing relationships with clients over the years. Michael began his career at Brinker Simpson as an intern in 1993 and went full-time in 1995 after graduating from La Salle University with a bachelor's degree in Accounting. As a partner, Michael leads the firm's business valuation and tax and business consulting services. He currently provides taxation and management consulting services for clients in various industries, including construction, commercial real estate, membership organizations, and professional services.
As managing partner, Michael will be responsible for the strategic planning, direction of the firm, sourcing opportunities for Brinker Simpson's growth, and the quality of the practice. He will also focus on the development of the partners and professional and administrative staff.

Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). He also serves as a board member for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia's Executive Board of Elementary Education.
