SPRINGFIELD, Pennsylvania - Employees at Brinker Simpson and Company continue to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to professional development, client service, and career advancement. For their ongoing efforts to serve their clients and the company, the regional accounting and business consulting firm has promoted seven employees across the firm. Of those who were promoted, two were tapped to become equity partners.

Donna Stilwell, CPA, CFE, and Tom McGarrigle, Jr., CPA, were promoted to equity partners, effective January 1, 2021. As the largest regional full-service public accounting firm in Delaware County, Brinker Simpson continues to strengthen and expand its ability to serve a growing roster of clients.

Donna Stilwell, CPA, CFE, Named Equity Partner

Donna joined Brinker Simpson in September 2015. Before joining, Donna was the Assistant Controller for a global travel insurance provider and healthcare technology company. She has served as a Controller for a small business start-up and a nonprofit. She also spent ten years working in the corporate accounting department of an international organization in various capacities. Donna received her MBA in Accounting and Tax from Widener University. A Partner at the firm, Donna manages the Accounting and Advisory Services and Fraud and Forensic practices. Donna lives in Swarthmore, Ridley Township, with her husband, Jim, and their dog Max.

Tom McGarrigle, Jr., CPA, Named Equity Partner

Tom joined Brinker Simpson in 2007, shortly after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Saint Joseph’s University.

A Partner at the firm, Tom specializes in the preparation of corporate and personal income tax returns, tax planning for small business owners and high net-worth individuals, and general business planning and consulting. Tom resides in Springfield Township with his wife, Mallory, and their children, Madeline and Tommy.
