For 14 years, Brinker Simpson has helped ensure Delaware County families have food on the table during the holiday season.
This October, our team, clients, friends, and family came together for the Annual Frank Baldino Food Drive, continuing a firm tradition that embodies the spirit of giving back. Together, we collected nonperishable food items for local families, filling an entire box truck for the Share Food Program, one of the region’s largest hunger-relief organizations that supports more than 100 local pantries.
We even had overflow donations that were delivered to the Delaware County Community Food Drive on Saturday, organized by County Council, Human Services, and the Department of Emergency Services at the former Don Guanella School site.
Our internal food drive competition ended in a tie between the Red and Yellow teams, a first in the drive's history! Their piles were nearly identical in size, showing just how strong the spirit of giving runs across our entire firm.
This annual effort honors the late Brinker Simpson Partner Frank Baldino, whose legacy of generosity continues to inspire our team and community.
Special thanks to Kellie McShane-Harris from our tax team, who has coordinated the food drive for the last 10 years with incredible dedication and heart. Thank you also to our client, United Fitness in Springfield, and its amazing members for their generous contributions again this year.
We are so grateful to everyone who participated. Your kindness and generosity make the season brighter for so many.
