Through our employees’ efforts, the Brinker Simpson & Company’s November Food Drive was an overwhelming success. For several years, we gave out Thanksgiving Baskets to local families in need but shifted gears three years ago by hosting a month long food drive instead. The staff are divided into teams and it becomes a friendly rivalry to see which team brings in the most items. Some of the staff asked their friends, relatives and even gyms to participate. Some clients dropped off food as well. Besides non-perishable food items, also collected were paper products, cleaning supplies, toiletries and feminine hygiene products as these are not covered under SNAP benefits and are in demand.
